Attualmente, Anastasia Rudenko vive a Vologda, dove lavora come fotografo freelance. Ha ricevuto numerosi premi e riconoscimenti. Ha ottenuto una borsa di studio per un corso alla Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts, sia nel 2013 che nel 2014. Nel 2013 vince anche il concorso Young photographers of Russia. Nello stesso anno vince un’altra borsa alla Scuola Danese di Media e Giornalismo dove segue i corsi di Soren Pagter, Mads Nissen e Kent Klich. È finalista all’International Photography contest 2013: Global World – Through the Lens of Human Rights.
Anastasia Rudenko was born in South-Kazakhstan Region in 1982. At the age of 12, she moved to Russia with her parents. In 2008, photography became a compromise between maths and art. She currently works as freelance photographer and lives in Vologda. She has won many awards. She obtained an Eastern Europe Grant for a course at the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts both in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, she was the winner of the contest “Young photographers of Russia, 2013″. In the same year, she got another Grant for the Danish School of Media and Journalism where she attended the courses of Soren Pagter, Mads Nissen and Kent Klich. She was also finalist at the INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2013: GLOBAL WORLD – Through the Lens of Human Rights. In 2012, she was selected for the 19th Joop Swart Masterclass, World Press Photo, and was named as one of PDN’s 30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch. In 2011, she was shortlisted as finalist for the Magnum Expression Award. In the same year, she was selected as Emerging Talent for Reportage by Getty Images. She took part to the International Portfolio Review for Russian Photographers in Moscow. She was finalist in the contest LUCEO Student Project Award. In 2010, she was finalist in the FotoVisura Grant for Outstanding Student Photography Project. She also won the Amateur Grand Prize winner
